Big Announcement: DayoneHR Special Project Reveal!

If you are an avid follower of DayoneHR on LinkedIn, you might remember this short video from our founder Lauren Cowan back in October 2021 announcing a special project we have been working on. Hold tight as this blog will take you on the journey through the project’s concept to creation.

As HR Tech Leaders, we believe it is important that HR leverages technology to enable people teams to be strategic partners for the business and employees. However, HR teams are often so busy taking care of small but necessary administrative tasks, that the wider vision and purpose of HR can get lost at times. These admin tasks can be small and repetitive in nature, but are totally crucial in keeping businesses compliant and on track. Most importantly, many of these tasks can be managed by a system with little human effort.

HR technology has been in the marketplace for a long time; the 90s were a time where HR started developing its technology footing. Coming forward to the present day, in the 2020s there is an incredible amount of development and investment taking place across the HR Tech sector. For several years now, we have been supporting companies as they navigate through HR Tech transformation projects and notice one common theme: HR teams know what they want from a HR Tech system but they don’t necessarily know how to make their required HR Tech transformation a reality. So, how does this story relate to DayoneHR’s special project?

Well, we believe in harnessing technology to help companies improve people experiences and processes in order to attract and retain the best workforce. We are proud to say that we have supported clients over the past 5 years to achieve this, but it is becoming ever clearer that the projected global demand for HR Tech transformation specialists far outstrips the supply. We are in an age of technological boom, where upskilling current and aspiring HR professionals in the field of HR Technology will be an important step towards future proofing HR departments and ensuring business success.

We have realized that in order to build stronger and more strategic HR teams, we need to build capacity in the sector of HR Technology. With our knowledge and expertise in HR Tech, experience of HR Tech transformations and with our mission and purpose firmly in mind, we are excited to announce the launch of… drum roll please… DayoneHR Courses!

This is our first step in sharing our years of experience, knowledge, and expertise to help others build their career in HR Technology. With this first step, we are working to build end-to-end HR Technology courses through which people can upskill themselves into becoming HR Tech Transformation professionals. Our courses will enable in-house employees to uplift their expertise to ensure their HR Tech Stack meets the needs of the business and will also help to create independent specialist consultants who can help companies in need of external HR Tech insight.
