DayoneHR Success Stories 2022

Client Services

At DayoneHR, we consult with businesses and HR Tech systems to strengthen the role of technology in supporting business growth and innovation. Nothing makes us happier than delivering successful HR Tech projects to our clients. We’ve been very lucky to serve some amazing companies and people over the years, and 2022 has been no exception. To showcase some of this year’s projects, we have prepared the case studies below to give an insight into the inner workings of DayoneHR.

Case Study #1: HRIS Selection for VC-Backed Tech Company

Sector: Technology

Headcount: 200

Scope: Human Resource Information System (HRIS)

The Challenge

DayoneHR were approached by a Series A funded technology company to help them select a new HRIS. The client believed their existing systems and methods for managing their workforce were outdated and unsuitable for their future growth plans.

Our Process

  • Support key stakeholders to map requirements and search the HRIS market for potential vendors

  • Shortlist appropriate systems and arrange demos to look at core functionality

  • Collate and present feedback from demo attendees, conduct deeper due diligence and help make a decision on a preferred vendor

Our Achievements

  • We scoped out the requirements for the future system to match business plans

  • Identified four options for the client to consider based on their needs and budget

  • Examined and compared the highlights, gaps and pricing of the shortlisted platforms

  • We helped our client to trim down the shortlist to just 2 preferred systems

  • Successful final system selection decision made in partnership with the client

Feedback

The VP of the company - who we were directly engaged with - was very impressed with our work and grateful for our support throughout the HRIS selection process. The CEO and co-founder also extended their appreciation and said they would engage DayoneHR to manage the next phase of the project: HRIS Implementation.

Case Study #2: HR Tech Stack Optimisation for LSE Listed Energy Company

Sector: Energy

Headcount: 500

Scope: HR Digitalisation & Optimisation

The Challenge

The client wanted to modernise and optimise their workforce management processes and give time back to their HR employees who were overloaded with burdensome clerical tasks. The client engaged DayoneHR to upscale their existing HRIS; to roll out new modules and features to help digitalise all HR processes. But also to help the business identify additional HR platforms and technology solutions to meet their needs and integrate with the wider tech stack.

Our Process

  • Work with the client to align on their HR Strategy for 2022 and wider KPIs across the business

  • Build out a Tier 0 employee self-service hub in multiple languages, across their international workforce

  • Design and build digital workflows to optimise and automate key HR processes

  • Identify solutions that can support the client further in areas such as Payroll and Org Structure management

Our Achievements

  • Optimised HR Service Delivery with the successful launch of an online employee information hub

  • Improved productivity across the HR department through digitalisation of forms and processes

  • Enhanced employee experience through automation of HR workflows and approval processes

  • Further HRIS training for all HR team members, to ensure greater ongoing optimisation of the system

Feedback

The Chief HR Officer was deeply grateful for our ongoing support and guidance to help the HR Department hit their KPIs for the year. The client has re-engaged DayoneHR to continue to support them with their HR Tech in 2023.
